Child Care Health Consultant Regions 4-5
Location: Boise, Twin Falls
IdahoSTARS is a statewide program funded by the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare-Block Grant. It is designed to assist parents by offering child care referrals and information about quality child care settings, as well as to assist child care providers with a variety of professional development opportunities and resources. The IdahoSTARS Child Care Health Consultant position promotes healthy and safe child care by assisting with program policy development and implementation of quality health, safety, and nutrition practices in early care and education settings. This position provides coaching, training, and resources to child care directors and providers, families, and regional and statewide partners.

Quality Child Care Consultant, Region 4
Location: Boise
The IdahoSTARS project is seeking a Quality Child Care Consultant to help increase the quality of child care in Idaho through coaching, mentoring and training child care educators throughout the region. The Consultant partners with childcare educators to create recommended interventions using evidence-based best practices derived from peer-reviewed research and national professional guidelines and assessment criteria. The Consultant evaluates implementation results and guides childcare educators through reflective progress engagement and goal-focused outcome achievement.
