Introduction
Welcome to the Principals Corner. The role of today’s
principal is more complex than ever. We have created this little corner of the world
specifically for principals and assistant principals to help you navigate the
complicated world of special education.
This involves how to provide special education services to students with
learning, intellectual, social and emotional, and physical disabilities, and
behavioral issues.
As the school leader,
parents and teachers look to you to guide them in their meetings regarding
these important matters. We hope this corner will help guide you through the
maze of issues that you face daily, especially with regards to the education of
your students with disabilities. We hope you will come back often to find new
