The CONNECT Conference is an annual student conference focused on competitive integrated employment (CIE) for students enrolled in IPSE programs. Students develop skills and connect with other students who are also seeking CIE opportunities. The conference is held annually and the first conference in 2025 included topics including building resumes, interviewing skills, AI and using apps, self-advocacy, finances and benefits, and navigating communication with employers.

The CONNECT conference also included an opportunity for professionals and families to attend the Capacity Building Institute (CBI). In partnership with The Northwest Inclusive Postsecondary Education Alliance, CBI included topics on exploring resources for post-secondary options, policy advocacy, collaborating with state agencies, and supporting independent living. Participants also had the option to attend the same workshops provided to the students

At the 2025 conference, 19 students and 45 service providers and family member or support person attended. 92% of the CBI participants found the conference beneficial. While on average, students indicated the sessions covered mattered to them (2.6/3) and they learned new knowledge (2.47/3), including 86% of students learned more about interviews and resumes.
