Idaho Pathways to Partnerships

The 2026 Idaho Pathways to Partnerships Conference features a redesigned format intended to increase access for regional teams.

Description

The Idaho Pathways to Partnerships Conference provides school district and charter teams an opportunity to connect with resources from partnering Idaho agencies and institutions of higher education. These partners offer transition resources and experiences to students with disabilities. School and community team members will engage in a collaborative planning process to develop an annual plan for maximizing transition opportunities and outcomes, while also participating in focused keynote, breakout, and team-planning sessions.

Phase 1: A two-hour virtual meeting to introduce the format and expectations.
Phase 2: One full-day, in-person training held in North, Southwest, and Southeast Idaho, including a keynote, breakout sessions, a working lunch, and dedicated team planning time.
Phase 3: A one-day virtual conference held statewide for all participating teams, featuring breakout sessions and team planning time.
Phase 4: Three virtual check-in sessions throughout the year to support teams as they monitor progress toward team goals and plan next steps.

Registration is open until September 22, 2026.
Important You must email Randi Cole, Idaho Department of Education Secondary Special Education Coordinator, to register your team or request a registration link for individual registrants.

Audience

School district and charter teams—including special education teachers, general education teachers, support staff, principals, counselors, special education directors, consulting teachers, and paraprofessionals, parents, youth—and other professionals who work with children and youth with disabilities.

PD Credit

Information on a Professional Development credit option will be provided during the September 23, 2026 event and posted on the conference Padlet.
