This hands-on training is designed for educators administering the Idaho Alternate Assessment through Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM). Participants will learn how to navigate the DLM Educator Portal, access student and assessment information, locate and use Essential Elements and Learning Maps, and utilize instructional resources to support assessment planning and instruction.
This session is designed to help educators become comfortable using the DLM platform and to prepare them for implementing instructionally embedded assessments throughout the school year. Participants will engage in hands-on activities and should bring an internet-enabled device to fully participate.
Audience
This training is intended for educators who will administer the Dynamic Learning Maps (DLM) Alternate Assessment during the 2026–2027 school year, including:
- Teachers of students with the most significant cognitive disabilities who participate in the Idaho Alternate Assessment.
- New DLM test administrators.
- Special education teachers responsible for administering DLM assessments.
