Play Play Play Early Childhood Summer Institute

Description

This training series supports early childhood teachers in designing and implementing play-based, child-led instructional environments that strengthen access to learning and support individualized outcomes. The work builds from shared pre-learning and moves directly into classroom-embedded practice aligned with IEP implementation and progress monitoring.

Participants are required to watch the following three videos, complete the training packets, and bring with them to the training:

Audience

Designed for Early Childhood Special Education Teachers and related service providers who implement services in an ECSE classroom.


PD Credit

A registration link will be provided to attendees who complete the prework and attend the in-person training. The Idaho State Department of Education will pay the professional development credit, a stipend to cover out-of-contract attendance, lunch, and teacher-specific classroom materials. Attendees will be asked to complete pre-work before in-person attendance to meet the 15-hour threshold for PD credit.
