Introduction

Welcome to the Restraint and Seclusion topic page. The purpose of this page is to provide educators with resources and information related to the use of restraint and seclusion in public schools. Our resources are divided into two categories: All staff and specialized staff. Specialized staff are those staff that directly serve students or classrooms of students who demonstrate aggressive or dangerous behaviors. Click on the tabs below to view and download resources. For Idaho legislation on this topic, see Idaho House Bill 281.

Additional related resources can be found on the Idaho Training Clearinghouse Behavior topic page.
