High Quality IEP Module Series and Resources

This collection of modules, practice materials and resources supports the Idaho SESTA Essential Components of the IEP statewide training. The content in these tabs is designed for new and experienced special education teachers, related service providers, special education directors, and others involved in IEP development, the series offers a flexible, self-paced way to strengthen your understanding of the IEP process. Whether you are just starting in special education or refining your practice, these modules provide practical guidance for creating IEPs that support student success.

At the beginning of each module in the primary High Quality IEP module series you will be able to download a PDF for note-taking. The PDF is designed to help you capture key ideas, examples, and questions as you move through the content.

Under the practice materials tab you will find materials to help you apply what you’ve learned. These include an IEP case study for practicing new skills, as well as LEA review tools and guidance videos to support the development of IEPs that meet basic compliance requirements.
